Today's Blog Title: "Assurance of Zion's Salvation"
Today's Blog Scripture Reading: Isaiah 62:1-12
Today's Blog Key Verse: Isaiah 62:1 "For Zion's sake I will not hold My peace, And for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, And her salvation as a lamp that burns."
Chapter 62, outlines the conditions that are preparatory to the deliverance of Zion and the establishment of Christ's kingdom. "Righteousness" and "salvation" will burst forth as a light upon the "Gentiles." Moreover, the Gentiles will not merely observe this light, but will receive it. Israel will change so radically that she will "be called by a new name."
"Proclaimed to the end of the world" links this verse with "a banner for the peoples" in verse10. "Say" in verse 11 is plural, indicting that a number of people will declare this announcement of salvation to Jerusalem. "They" in verse 12 refers to the Gentiles.
Today's Biblical Truth: "We as Christians need to be intentional about putting ourselves in relationships where God can work for our spiritual well being."
Have a God Filled and Spirit Led Day. Go in Peace and Serve the Lord our God with Gladness. Love God More Today. Pray for our Brothers and Sisters in Christ who are being persecuted for their Faith and Trust in Jesus. Continue to Pray for Youcef Nardarkhani the Iranian Pastor who has been sentenced to death for his refusing to denounce Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and for his lawyer who has been sentenced to 9 years in prison for defending him in the Iranian Court. Always remember that when you have a spiritual dilemma in your life and you yell out, "I CAN'T," GOD Whispers to you, "BUT I CAN."
