Bible Verse and Hymn for Wednesday 15 December

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!

Today is Day 7 of the Old Testament predictions of Jesus Birth and the New Testament fulfillment.

Prophecy: The Messiah would be anointed and eternal.

Old Testament Prediction: Psalm 45:6-7-"Your throne, O Lord, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.  You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companies".

Psalm 102:25-27-"Of old You have laid the foundation of the earth.  The heavens are the work of your hands.  They will perish, but you will endure; Like a cloak you will change them, and they will be changed.  But You are the same, and Your years will have no end".

Meaning: In verse 7 of Psalm 45 the words "Your throne" indicate the messianic direction of this chapter.  The King is addressed as God, yet it is "God, Your God" that anointed Him.  This would show us the interaction of the Father and the Son for both are called God.  Those anointed during the Old Testament times foreshallowed the Anointed One that being the Messiah, Jesus Christ.  In Psalm 105 the theme is that God laid the foundation of the world and the heavens are of His work.

New Testament Fulfillment: Hebrews 1:8-12- These verses are from Psalm  45 and 102 which was our  Old Testament prediction presented today.

Meaning: Jesus Christ has an eternal throne and possesses an eternal kingdom.  We as believers are companions with Christ and will be with Christ as He rules His kingdom. The universe will be changed but Jesus will be the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorow.

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
That your baby boy has come to make you new?
The child that you delivered
Will soon deliver you

Heavenly Father, How we thank you for knowing us before the foundation of the world and Loving us so much you sent your only Son to us, and because of that birth the world was changed forever as well as those that believe and trust in You.
                                                                              Amen

"I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust".
                                                                 Psalm 91:2

Have a God Filled and Spirit Led Day

Yours In Christ
Cindi
