Weekend Bible Verse and Hymn for Saturday 26 February

"Greetings Everyone in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"

Today, I am going to send out a Bible Verse that deals with Grace.  Without God's wonderful and Loving Grace we would have no hope of eternal life. It is because of Grace, that God gives us through His Son Jesus Christ, that we have the hope of a seeing, and being with Jesus throughout eternity.

I am about to end a Woman's Bible Study with Catherine Martin, where we she talked about and we read from her book "A Woman's Walk In Grace".  What an eye opening experience it has been, to hear her talk about it and read about it from God's word.  To the women that read this blog, if you have not read her book, I would recommend that you get it and read it.  It will bless your life.

Today's Bible Verse: Galatians 2:20-21

"I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.  I do not set aside the GRACE  of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."

In verse 20 the term "crucified with Christ" is the concept of identification with, or union with Jesus Christ.  In God's sight, the believer is so linked with Jesus, that His death is considered ours.  Even more, we are united with Jesus in His resurrection, and so have access to God's own power for holy living.

"Grace" is a word filled with unique meaning, a word that expresses a complex set of understanding about our relationship with our God.  (1) Grace views God's attitude toward us as one of love and acceptance. (Praise God) (2) Grace is an admission that unaided, we are trapped by sin and incapable of winning God's favor. (Thank You Father) (3) Grace is the triumphant announcement that God will come to the aid of all those who trust Him and He gives us salvation as a free gift (Thank You Jesus) (4) Grace is a way of life, it is an attitude that rejects the dependence of doing things with our own strength or abilities and yet affirms that through Jesus Christ we are able to live good and righteous lives. (Wow) (5) Grace is choosing to be and do good, relying on Christ for enablement, and knowing that without Christ, his death, and resurrection we would have been doomed to eternal separation from God our Creator.

If you have not received this free gift of GRACE, today can be that day.  In 1 John 1:9 it says,"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."  Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life and He is knocking at your hearts door wanting to come in and fellowship with you, and you with Him.  Confess your sins, and open your hearts door, and He will come in, and with that free gift, your life will never be the same again.  Believe me, I, and all those that have accepted that free gift are here to tell you, that Jesus will be the best friend that you have ever had.  Even the angels in heaven will Rejoice and Praise God when we are saved through the wonderful and Loving GRACE of JESUS CHRIST.

Marvelous Grace of our living Lord, Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt
Yonder on Calvary's mount out poured, there where the blood of the lamb was spilled
Grace, Grace, God's Grace
Grace that will  pardon and cleanse within
Grace, Grace, God's Grace
Grace that is greater than all our sins

Heavenly Father, Thank you for loving us so much that your gave us Your only Son Jesus Christ to die our death upon the cross of Calvary and with His death and resurrection we now are free of the death  penalty which we deserve but because of your Love and Grace we now have the hope of spending all eternity with you.  I pray Lord that if there is anyone out there today that is reading this that today will be the day that they invite you into there lifes and experience the life changing and eternal presence of You in there lifes.
                                                                                                             Amen

Have a God Filled and Spirit Led Day.  Go  in Peace and Serve the Lord with Gladness.  Love God More Today and remember that a spiritual defeat yells, "I Can't" but God whispers, "BUT I CAN".

Yours in Christ
Cindi
