"Greetings Everyone in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"
Today's Bible Verse: Colossians 1:10-14
"That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long suffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins."
Wow!!!! Paul here is telling us, that we need to walk worthy of the Lord in our daily life's. We need to live our life's in a manner, that reflects what God is doing for us and in us. We as Christians need to dedicate our lives to the Living God, in order to please Him.
We as Believers are empowered not by our strength, but by God's strength. We need to desire the very power of God Himself, working in our lives. Our strength, only comes from God alone.
We as Believers can never be qualified on our own; instead, God makes us sufficient through Jesus Christ. The inheritance that we receive as Christians, is NOT one that is earned, but is based on being QUALIFIED by God. God the Father will qualify us, and Jesus Christ Himself, will reward us at the end of the race.
In verse 13, the kingdom that we have been rescued from, is from the kingdom of darkness. Jesus is the light, and He has rescued us from the domination of darkness. "PRAISE GOD"
Our redemption comes from Jesus Christ. We are freed from the bondage to sin by the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, whom loved us so much, that He stretched out His arms on the cross of Calvary, and shed His blood in our place upon that cross. Is He knocking on your hearts door today? Open your hearts door to him, and your life will never be the same. Believe me I know, because on July 11th 2010 at 11:55 p.m, I opened my hearts door to His calling, and my life has never been the same. What a joy He bestows upon those that are His. As Catherine Martin says in her book, A Woman's Walk in Grace, "God's Grace: Believe It, Receive It, Live It".
Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it! Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb

Heavenly Father, Install in us Lord, Your strength, and Your power, that we might serve You, and glorify You. We cannot do it Lord, on our strength alone. What a thought it is Lord, that we are indeed redeemed, and His child and forever WE are.
