Weekend Bible Verse for Sunday 20 March 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"

Today's Bible Verse: Galatians 2:21

"I do not set aside the the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."

God's Grace is transforming.  "Grace", is a word filled a wonderful meaning that expresses our understanding and our relationship with God.  Grace views God's attitude toward us as one of love and acceptance.

Grace. is an admission that if unaided, we would be trapped by sin, and unable to win God's favor.  Grace, is the announcement that Our God will come to the aid of those that believe in Him, and that His salvation is a free gift.

Grace, is a way of life, and an attitude that we as believers have, to reject dependence on our own strength or abilities, and at the same time affirms that through Jesus, and him alone, we are able to live good and righteous lives.

Grace, is choosing to be, and do good, and relying on Christ for the enablement to do so.

Today's Hymn:  "Count Your Blessings" (verse 1)

When upon life's billows you are tempest tossed
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost
Count your many blessings, name them one by one
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done
Count your many blessings, name them one by one
Count your blessings, see what God hath done
Count your blessings, name them one by one
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Heavenly Father, What a Loving, Caring and Gracious God You are.  Thank you Heavenly Father, for the Grace that You provide to those that believe in You, and the free gift of Salvation that we have in Jesus Christ.   May we live our life's daily for you and reply on the strength of the Holy Spirit to do so.
                                                                                        Amen

"No matter who we are or where we come from, God can always use us"

Today's Daily Bible verse at http://www.cindi-davis.blogspot.com/ is from from Revelation 22: 18-21.

Have a God Filled and Spirit Led Day.  Go in Peace and Serve the Lord with Gladness.  Love God More Today and always remember that when you have spiritual defeat in your day that yells out, "I Can't", God whispers to you, "BUT I CAN".

Yours in Christ,
Cindi
