Weekend Blog Verses for Saturday 5 March and Sunday 6 March 2011

"Greeting Everyone in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"

I will be away from my PC for this weekend, so I am sending out the weekends Blog Bible Verses for Saturday 5 March, and Sunday 6 March today, Friday March 4th 2011.

Bible Verse for Saturday 5 March: Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also to the Greek.  For in it, the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

The word gospel in verse 16 means "Good News".  The Christian gospels content is about Jesus. It's significance reveals God's gift of righteousness.  Its outcome is that it  brings salvation and the invitation is to all who believe.

In verse 17, faith to faith would mean that faith is at the beginning of the salvation process, and it is the goal as well.  When we as Christians express faith in Christ we are saved from the penalty of sin and God declares us righteous.  As we live by faith, The Almighty God continues to save us from the power of sin, so that we can live righteously.

Blog Verse for Sunday 6 March: 1 John 4: 18-19: "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.  But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.  We love Him because He first loved us."

Love and fear are not compatible.  When we as Christians experience God's love for us, our attitude and mind set toward Him is transformed.  We stand in awe of Him, but the awe is without terror or fear of punishment.  The more we live in love, which means expressing as well as receiving love, the more confident we as Christians will become in our daily relationship with the Lord.

Prayer is the key to heaven, but faith unlocks the door
Words are easily spoken, but prayer without faith
Is like a boat without an oar
Have faith when you speak to the Master
That's all He asks of you, for prayer is the key to heaven
But faith unlocks the door

Heavenly Father, thank you for loving us so much that You would send Your only Son Jesus Christ to die our death upon the cross of Calvary.  We are awestruck by Your Unending Love, Mercy and Grace for those that trust and believe in You.  Strenghten our faith each day Lord as we live our life's for You.
                                                                                                    Amen

Have a God Filled and a Spirit Led Day.  Go in Peace and Serve the Lord with Gladness.  Love God More Today and always remember, when you have a spiritual failure that yells, "I Can't", God whispers to you, "BUT I CAN"

Yours in Christ,
Cindi
