Today's Scripture Reading: Psalm 57:1-11
Today's Key Verse: Psalm 57:2,3 "I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me. He shall send from heaven ad save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. God shall send forth His mercy and His truth."
David in this psalm triumphantly praises God for deliverance from Saul, thrilled that God "sends His love and His faithfulness."
This psalm has three parts: (1) a call for mercy in the midst of calamities (verses 1-3); (2) a confession of trust in the midst of trouble (verses 4-6); (3) a determination to praise God in the midst of the people (verses 7-11).
Today's Hymn: "All Hail The Power Of Jesus Name"
All hail the power of Jesus' Name! Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him Lord of all

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit How thankful we are as Your children that You faithfully send Your love and faithfulness when we call upon Thee. Delivery us from the things of this world and help us to keep our focuses on You and on those things above.
