Today's Blog Title: "Simple Trust in the Lord" (Day 12 of the "Songs of Ascent", or "Pilgrim Songs").
Today's Scripture Reading: Psalm 131:1-3
Today's Key Verse: Psalm 131:3 "O Israel, hope in the Lord, From this time forth and forever."
Psalm 131 is the twelfth in the "Songs of Ascent" and is one of the four songs of ascent a attributed to David.
This psalm in an intensely personal song of humility. It contains David's declaration of humility (verse 1), declaration of trust (verse 2), and call for hope (verse3).
It is a prayer of total trust. The arrogant reply on themselves and to refuse to submit to God, but the true believer is as dependent on God as a little child is on his parents.
Today's Hymn: "Believe And Obey"
Press onward, press onward, and trusting the Lord
remember the promise proclaimed in His Word
He guideth the footsteps, directeth the way
Of all who confess Him, believe and obey
Believe and obey, believe and obey
The Master is calling, no longer delay
The light of His mercy shines bright on the way
Of all who confess Him, believe, and obey
Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, in our daily life's in serving you there are times when we fall lose our balance and fall. How thankful we are Father that because of Your mercy and grace we can come to you for forgiveness and get back on feet that we might be able to continue our fellowship with you. How wonderful is it to know that You are always there to comfort us and to meet our needs.

Today's Biblical Truth: "The grace of God in His provision for forgiveness is not to be taken lightly."
Have a God Filled and Spirit Led Day. Go in Peace and Serve the Lord our God with Gladness. Love God More Today and always remember that when you have a spiritual dilemma in your life and you yell out, "I CAN'T", God whispers to you, "BUT I CAN".
"By humility and fear of the Lord, Are riches and honor of life."
